1 Month Check-Up

At birth Zane weight 6 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 inches long. The first week he dipped down to about 6 pounds.

Now for his one month check up he weighed 8 pounds exactly and had grown an entire inch to reach 21 inches long! I thought this was amazing but the doctor told us he was somewhat under weight (in the 10th percentile) so I needed to make sure I was getting enough fat and oils in my diet. She suggested I drink more milk and eat peanut butter like I had when I was pregnant. His length put him in the 50th percentile, right on target for the averages at that age.

So we left with orders to 'fatten him up' and that was my goal!!
